Missing you but having a great time
Hey Babe,
It feels like its been awhile since I heard your voice. I hope you've been having as much fun as me! Last night we had an 8 course meal, though with all the gift tastes from the chef it was more like 13 courses. We were so full afterwards! We had everything from Sashimi, to veal to quail to Lobster! Unfortunately most of the courses were meat so it was super super filling but I'm sure you would have loved it. Plus the conversation was actually good. No fighting...once we got there. Before we left it was bad though. My mom always has to give her opinions about our dresses and outfits and she never likes the way we put outfits together and she ends up making us feel kinda insecure. Plus she said my dress is see-thru!!! It wasn't see through on the boat that night was it? Anyways, I wore a slip that she lent me. But after that things turned around and I had some great conversations. Anwyays. I'll tell you more tonight. Remind me to tell you about Crystie..

Dreams
So last night I dreamed that Paris HIlton was my roomate at NYU and she took me to court for saying something mean about her in my diary, and for "forced labor" because I made her clean the apartment once and awhile. I also dreamed that everyone I knew was on her side.
I also dreamed about our wedding (Probably because I finished Sex God) but it wasn't a happy dream unfortunately because it was in my driveway and things just weren't the way I wanted them. Just a silly dream. It was kind funny tho

Prayer for a Stranger
Hey Babe,
I'm sitting in the airport on a station where I can plug my laptop in. The girl next to me is typing something into a word document and I decided to read it...I dunno...rude but I was bored. Well, I wasn't gonna read the whole thing, just glance to see what topic she was writing on...it looked like a paper. And it was on a plane crash. I started reading it. She's writing about all the ways one can die on a plane and talking about the likely hood of surviving. At the bottom it says. "OF course this all may be wishful thinking I may die peacefully in my sleep." I'm really sad for her, I think she's suicidal or maybe just really depressed. Either way, please pray for her. At first it made me scared, I'm not sure why, because God is on my side and his will reigns. However, it is still scary to think about plane crashes when one's about to get on a plane. And they were so graphic. Actually, she's a good writer. Maybe she's writing a novel? Hrm. She seems to young for that. Anwyays. WIll you pray for her? Thanks.

It feels better to come home after a great day with you

1) bosses gave me 2 bottles of chardonnay at work
2) bosses promised me a raise next semester
3) just bought EXPENSIVE violin strings. might be playing it for worship next semester...when rich plays guitar and vera is on the keys...=]
4) just got a call from Tishman (construction company in NY) for an interview
5) taking home LOTS of treats...u know...the kind business people get for christmas, the baskets full of goodies. bosses gave me like half the goodies in it.

All I wanna do is entertain people, make movies, and dance (and fulfill God's will and live my life accordingly to His word, but that goes without saying).
I seriously couldn't think of a thing that would make me happier, as long as the right people are involved. But I get such a rush out of not just being the center of attention, but knowing that the people are amused/entertained. Like, I'd not the kind of girl that will do obnoxious, whiny things to draw attention to herself. like laugh too loudly or wear low cut tops or talk about myself (I hate talking about myself, in all actuality). I just like to entertain and thus, I am addicted to the spotlight. There possibly cannot be anything else that I am destined to do
Consider this a brief reflection of sorts. In 11 days, I'm home for 40 days. Then my life starts over. Same room, same major, but still. It's gonna be somewhat different.
Thus comes the end of my first semester of college at New York University. I can hardly grasp the concept. Like really? I've been a college student for a whole semester? You don't say...
To be honest, these three months have definitely changed my life. I am not being dramatic, but seriously.
First off, it has tremendously strengthened my relationship with and focus on God. And I have Cru to thank for that. I remember when I first started attending, I was amazed at how focused these people were God and Jesus. It inspired me to get to that level. And though there is always room for improvement, I've definitely grown in that sense, and I feel so great because of it. There are times that I just feel God. I know He's there, and I love Him so much. People downplay and deny His existence so much. Or just forget about Him. But the truth is, when I'm in touch with God, I just feel better. Period.
Just Cru in general has had such a major impact on my life. It gave me this group of amazing people that I truly enjoy spending my time with. Whoever has that retarded notion of Christians being no fun and uptight are hanging with the wrong people. But beyond a fun level, they are truly great people. I'm so glad that God led me to that particular Christian group right off the bat, because I know that's where I belong. Seriously, though, it was so God's hands leading me there. One of those things were you look back and are like, "Wow. Thanks."
I've learned to appreciate my family and best friends even more. My family, especially. We were on this path of getting closer before I left for college, but now that has been cemented. We're tight, and being away from my brother has even somehow cultivated our friendship. Maybe it's because he's finally growing up a bit - I dunno. But we're definitely beyond the days of stupid fighting, and we can hang out and kind of talk now. Then my best friends. Man, I know those are the girls that are gonna be with me for the rest of my life. Sometimes I miss them so much - just having them around to do whatever. But it makes my breaks all the more special.
Then there was this ridiculous realization with what exactly I want to do with my life and how I should obtain, which was brought on my a slight series of events that totally has "God" written all over it. I was finally able to see the reason for why everything that went down in high school happened. I knew there was a reason before - I just failed to see it. Now it's been made clear to me
Thus, the ridiculous things that I had been battling for practically the past 2 years (well, like end of 2005 up until sometime early this year) no longer matter. I am completely over every little piece of high school drama that went on. Grudges and bitter feelings - gone. Do I still feel like I was majorly screwed over? Yes. Do I care? No. Old news. It happened, it got me to where I am now, it's done. Next chapter, please.
Anyway, time goes by fast. I've seen the Jonas Brothers in person twice, meant some of the stars from the show that has been my favorite for the past six years, and can now say that NYC is my stomping grounds.
I'm ready to tackle next semester full force. I expect great things out of it, and then it's on with the rest of my life. Yeah, man.

so he saw your pic and was like, "she's very pretty." thanks, i replied. and then we started talking about female blond asian male couples are rare and how the other way around is more prevalent. he continued and asked me if i get weird looks. i thought about it for a little bit, and said yes, how about you?
